Loafcat

A cat that lives on your web pages. It naps on the line you're reading, gets hungry, and chats using your own AI key.

Loafcat puts a real cat on the pages you already browse. It walks along the bottom edge of the posts you're scrolling, and once it trusts you, it will sit down on the line of text you're actually reading and stay there. Cats do that. SIX CATS Six breeds to pick from in the side panel. One click swaps the cat on every tab that is already open. Same personality whichever you pick — only the looks differ. WHAT IT DOES · Now and then a stray wanders in, scraps with your cat, and leaves · Loafs, grooms, stretches and sleeps — the way a cat actually spends its day · Moves in bursts: crouches, freezes, then sprints · Doesn't always want to be petted. Early on it may just walk away · Won't fetch. Throw it a toy and it bats it once, then leaves · Gets hungry, tired and grubby in real time — even while your browser is closed · Feed, water, play and groom it to raise its level and bond CHAT WITH IT (optional, off by default) Bring your own API key. Requests go straight from your browser to the endpoint you chose; the key is stored on your device and is never synced. Common chat completion endpoints are supported. IT KNOWS WHEN TO GET OUT OF THE WAY It fades out while you're typing, when a dialog opens, and when it would cover a menu. Mail, cloud storage, sign-in and payment pages are excluded outright. WHERE IT LIVES It runs on a small set of popular content sites out of the box. Any other site is opt-in: you grant access yourself from the side panel, one domain at a time. PRIVACY No server.
