PreBrowse helps you browse more consciously. Before you enter distracting sites, an intent gate overlay asks what you actually want to do there right now. Set your intention: Choose a quick intention chip or type your own (minimum 3 characters). Optionally rate how important this visit is (1–5). Enter with this intention, or decide not to go in and get redirected to a blank tab. Stay mindful: Optionally unlock a site for 5, 10, 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 8 hours. Weekly limits keep long unlocks intentional, not automatic. After entering, a small “Done with this visit?” button lets you close the loop — mark if you did what you intended (Yes / Partially / No) and add a note if you want. Enable reminders after X minutes to check if you’re still on track. Customize your experience: Choose which domains show the intent gate. Set daily goals per domain (max visits and minutes per day). Configure quiet hours when only short unlocks are allowed. Turn on focus mode (one tab per domain). Create custom intent templates per domain. Reflect and improve: “Today” and “Daily reflection” views show simple stats: – Number of visits – Average importance – Most visited domains – Current intention streak – Domains most often unlocked Privacy-first design: All data stays in your browser (chrome.storage.local and chrome.storage.session). No servers. No accounts. No tracking.
