When you start a new chat — with any model — inject the context you need. Your memory follows you, not the vendor. THE BLIND VAULT — MEMORIES WE CANNOT READ Turn it on and your memories are encrypted inside your browser before they are sent. The key is derived from twelve words generated on your device; we never see them and never store them. What reaches our servers is an unreadable blob whose hash is anchored on the blockchain — we can prove your memory existed and has not been altered, without ever knowing what it says. Generate the phrase with one click in the extension, write it down on paper, and activate the vault. From then on every memory you save is sealed. Being precise about what this covers. The content of your memories is unreadable to us. Metadata is not encrypted: timestamps, sizes and the project a memory belongs to stay visible. Memories saved before you turn the vault on remain as they were — they cannot be sealed retroactively, because we would have to read them in order to re-encrypt them. And if you lose the twelve words, those memories are gone for everyone, including us. That is not a flaw in the design; it is the design. About AIC credits and the built-in wallet: Saving, injecting and verifying memories runs on the ChainMemory network and uses AIC — the network's built-in usage credits. Every account includes a wallet, created automatically and free of charge when you sign up. The extension shows your credit balance and includes a "Top up" shortcut to the ChainMemory faucet page when your balance runs low. AIC is a utility credit for using the service — it is not an investment product, has no monetary value outside the network, and the extension does not handle external cryptocurrencies or payments. WORKING IN A TEAM If your organization uses ChainMemory, your administrator can issue you a member key or a project key. Paste it during setup like any other key and the extension works the same way — except that what you save is attributed to you as a member, fees are charged to the organization instead of to a wallet of your own, and your role determines what you are allowed to do. Project keys are limited to the single project they were issued for.
