Share a password, an API key or a config file without putting it in a chat message that lives forever. CredenShare encrypts the contents of a share inside your own browser. The key travels in the link's fragment — the part after the # that browsers never send to a server — so the ciphertext and the key that opens it never meet anywhere but the recipient's machine. We cannot read what is inside a share, and neither can anyone holding only our logs or our database. The title is the one exception, and it is worth knowing: it is stored in the clear so the share stays findable in your own list. Put the secret in the fields, not in the title. This extension puts that one action in your toolbar. No account required for Developer tools - Free account required to create shares and pastes. -- Creating a Share -- Open the popup, type what you are sending, press Create. The link is on your clipboard before you have finished reading the confirmation. Every share carries an expiry, and the default is 24 hours rather than never. Depending on your plan you can also add a view limit, a passcode, a failed attempt limit, a timed view, an IP allowlist, or require the recipient to sign in first. Working in a team?
