Turn your Canvas, Brightspace, Blackboard or Moodle assignments into a planner with a calendar, class folders and AI study plans.

ScholarOS copies your upcoming assignments out of Brightspace and into a planner you control. You sign into your school yourself, the way you always do. ScholarOS has no login screen, never asks for a password, and does not touch Duo or any other two-factor step. Once you are on your MyCourses or Brightspace page, ScholarOS reads the assignment list already on the screen and shows you what it found in a side panel next to it. Nothing is saved until you say so. The Import Inbox shows every assignment it picked up with the title, course, and due date it read, flags the ones it is unsure about, and lets you correct any of the three before approving. Approve them one at a time or all at once. Reject the ones you do not want. Every task you keep holds a working link straight back to the original assignment on your LMS. What you get after that is an ordinary, quiet planner: a calendar, a list, task detail, reminders, and class folders. You can drag a task to reschedule it. You can add tasks by hand for the work your LMS never knew about. Deleting something is undoable. By default it looks seven days ahead, and you can widen that window in settings. You can also paste in a link to a document, such as notes, a draft, or a shared folder, and ScholarOS will remember which class it belongs to and offer it back for later assignments in that class. It stores the link and opens it in a tab. It never opens, reads, or downloads the document itself. Two optional features use AI, and both are off until you turn them on: Smart Plan, which drafts a study schedule from your tasks, and paste-to-task, which turns pasted text into a task. They run on Google's Gemini API using a free API key you create and paste into Settings. Without a key they do nothing and tell you so, and the rest of the extension works exactly as described. Where your data lives: on your computer. There is no ScholarOS account, no sign-up, no server, and no analytics. Uninstalling deletes everything. What it does not do, and will not learn to do: it does not log into anything for you, it does not bypass or store credentials, and it does not write, complete, or submit your coursework. It is an organiser and a launchpad, not an answer machine. Limitations worth knowing before you install: ScholarOS supports D2L Brightspace only. Canvas, Blackboard, and Moodle are not supported. It reads the assignment list that your school's page displays, so it can only find what that page shows. Document links are ones you paste in yourself; ScholarOS has no access to your Google account, Drive, or any other cloud storage. PRICING ScholarOS is free to use as a planner, permanently. Finding your assignments, reviewing and correcting them, approving them, and the calendar, list, reminders, and class folders are not gated and never expire. Smart Plan and paste-to-task are free too, running on a free Google Gemini API key you supply yourself. A one-time $2.99 purchase unlocks document suggestions and link attachment, course memory across the semester, and one-click workspace launch. Everything is unlocked for a 14-day trial that starts when you install, with no card, no account, and no email address. When the trial ends the paid features switch off and the free ones keep working. Nothing you already saved is removed or locked away. Payment is a one-time charge handled by Stripe. There is no subscription and nothing renews. You receive a licence key and paste it into Settings, where it is checked on your own device.
