This extension does its job nicely. I'm surprised more people don't use it but maybe the usage is just very niche. The extension shortcut in Chrome can be clicked to Hide or Show the video or thumbnails and these changes are applied instantly. EDIT: I would like to see this app updated to hide Shorts' thumbnails - this new Youtube feature as of 2024 is not blocked by the extension.
