DevRecall is a local-first technical reference and learning companion that lives in Chrome’s side panel. Search by intent instead of remembering exact function names. DevRecall provides code-first answers for common developer and data tasks across technologies like Snowflake, JavaScript, Python etc out of the box. Key features: - Search curated syntax, patterns, and known errors without leaving the current tab. - Save, edit, tag, favorite, and organize personal snippets locally. - Use the HTML extraction workbench to validate CSS selectors and XPath expressions against inert pasted markup. - Preview extracted values before generating defensive browser-console JavaScript. - Connect free local Ollama models for explanations, extensions, conversions, examples, tests, and unknown-error analysis. - Keep AI-generated code separate from explanations for clean copying. - Reject obvious wrong-language AI output and unsafe extraction operations. - Receive an explicit disclosure before every Ollama cloud-model request. - Open DevRecall using Ctrl+Shift+K or the Chrome toolbar icon.
