Shows the transcript of YouTube videos in a panel next to the video

FastTube lets you read YouTube videos. It adds a panel beside the video on the watch page, so you can read the transcript, a cleaned-up version of the text, and a summary while the video plays. ■ What it does • Transcript: the captions as a timestamped list. The current line is highlighted as the video plays, and clicking a line jumps to that moment. • Formatted: the spoken captions rewritten as readable paragraphs. • Summary: an article that organizes the video under headings. Click a heading's timestamp to jump to that part of the video. • Switch between caption languages (uploaded captions and auto-generated ones). • Choose the text size (small, medium, large) and the panel height.
