Zola Cyrano — meeting captions

Reads meeting captions in your browser (Meet, Teams or any site) and hands them to the Zola Cyrano app on this computer.

This extension connects your browser meetings to the Zola Cyrano desktop app, a call copilot that suggests, while you talk, what to say and how to steer the conversation, based on the goal and plan you set for each meeting. Instead of capturing and transcribing audio, the extension reads the captions the meeting platform already shows on screen and hands that text to the app on the same computer. WHAT IT DOES • Google Meet and Microsoft Teams (web): reads captions with the speaker's name. • Any other site: finds the caption area by itself, or you point at it with one click. The choice is remembered per site. • Skips notices such as "Someone joined the meeting". • The toolbar icon shows whether it is reading and the last lines read. PRIVACY • Text goes only to the Zola Cyrano app on your computer (local address 127.0.0.1). Nothing is sent to the developer or to third parties. • The extension contacts no internet address, loads no remote code, and has no analytics or ads. • It only sends text once it finds captions, and only to the paired app. To find captions it watches caption-like areas of the page, and nothing leaves the browser. • The app only accepts the extension with the pairing code it generated. HOW TO USE 1. Install the Zola Cyrano desktop app. 2. In the app, click "Parear com a extensão" (pair with the extension): pairing is automatic. 3. In your meeting, turn on the platform's captions. The app starts receiving what is said. Requires the Zola Cyrano desktop app (Windows or Linux).
