This is my first Chrome extension.
This Chrome Extension monitors real-time text changes on webpages and captures specific DOM elements (e.g., captions, status updates, live data). It uses a MutationObserver in a content script to track updates, then sends the data to a background service worker. The latest captured text can be accessed from a popup or relayed to external systems such as streaming software (OBS) using WebSocket integration. πΉ Key Features: Automatically tracks changes to specific elements on webpages Uses Chrome messaging system to send updated data from content script to background Popup UI displays the most recent captured text Optionally integrates with OBS using obs-websocket for real-time overlays or automation (via bundled script) π Use Cases: Live captions or transcription displays Streaming automation Remote overlays and broadcasting Real-time monitoring and logging π‘ Developer Tools Required: This extension is intended for developers, streamers, or technical users familiar with OBS and browser extensions. β οΈ Note: No personal data is collected.
