Realtime transcripts and captions for audio playing in the active Chrome tab. Requires your own OpenAI API key.
Live Audio Transcript captures audio from the current Chrome tab and displays realtime text captions directly over the page. Use it for meetings, lectures, videos, podcasts, live streams, and other browser audio. Choose source and output languages to create same-language transcripts or translated captions. Key features: - Realtime caption overlay for active-tab audio. - Movable and resizable caption window. - Source language auto-detection or manual language selection. - Output captions in English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Vietnamese, Thai, or Indonesian. - Audio remains audible while transcription is running. - API key is saved locally in Chrome extension storage. Important: Live Audio Transcript requires users to supply their own OpenAI API key. The extension does not provide bundled API access. While transcription is active, tab audio is sent to OpenAI for realtime processing.
