livdub turns whatever is playing in your current Chrome tab into near-real-time dubbed audio in the language you choose. See instructions for how to configure the extension on https://livdub.com How it works 1. Install livdub and open a tab with audio or video. 2. Click on the extension icon and paste your own Google Gemini API key (it stays on your device). 3. Pick a target language and start dubbing. 4. Hear a live translated track while the original page keeps playing. Why livdub • Free BYOK — you bring your Gemini key (even free tier); livdub doesn’t charge for dubbing • No Livdub account, login, or subscription • Audio is captured in the extension and sent straight to Gemini with your key — not through livdub servers for translation • Works on the tab you’re watching: news, talks, streams, lessons, and more • Only anonymous usage stats (language, session length, ...) collected and you can dial it down in the extension settings Privacy in one line Your Gemini API key and live audio is never sent to livdub’s servers. It's your machine that uses your own Gemini API key, sends requests to Gemini, and plays response for you in realtime. We only collect anonymous usage stats like languages used and session lengths (no account identity).
