Little Chrome

Shift-click links to open focused compact windows in your current Chrome profile.

Open links without losing your place. Little Chrome opens HTTP and HTTPS links in compact, focused Chrome windows when you Shift-click them. Features: • Adjustable window size, with automatic memory of manual resizing. • Reuse an existing compact window or open separate windows. • Back and forward navigation. • Open the current page in a normal Chrome tab. • Escape to close the compact window. • Optional automatic closing when another Chrome window receives focus. • Uses your current Chrome profile and existing website sessions. Privacy: Settings are stored locally. No analytics, external servers, or user data transmission. Little Chrome does not read cookies or passwords. Limitations: Chrome restricts extension functionality on internal pages, the Chrome Web Store, and other protected pages. Keyboard shortcuts require page focus and may be overridden by Chrome or your operating system. Opening a compact page in a normal tab reloads its URL; unsaved forms and navigation history are not transferred. Little Chrome is an independent project and is not affiliated with Google or Arc.
