Overview
Save the paper you are reading to your LiterView library, with its PDF uploaded to your own Google Drive, in one click.
LiterView saves the papers you read to your LiterView library and puts their PDFs in your own Google Drive. There are three ways to save a paper: - On a paper's page, click the LiterView button in your toolbar. - On literview.com, click Get PDF on a paper. LiterView fetches the PDF from the publisher with your own access, opening a small window only when it needs one. - On Google Scholar, click the LiterView button next to a search result to save that paper with its PDF. Papers already in your library are marked. Your PDFs go straight to your own Google Drive and never pass through LiterView's servers. Apart from showing its buttons on Google Scholar, LiterView looks at a website only when you save from it or ask for a PDF, and it sends nothing about your Scholar searches unless you click its button. It never reads your literview.com sign-in details. Get PDF and the Scholar buttons need site access, which Chrome asks for once. You can withdraw it in chrome://extensions, and you can turn the Scholar buttons off in the extension's menu. Requirements - A LiterView account (free) and a Google Drive connection made in LiterView's Library settings. - Sign in to literview.com once in this browser; the popup tells you when the session has expired.
