Sales-estimate tools infer their figures from things like review counts and listing age, which is why two of them disagree about the same listing — and why the numbers wobble most on new listings with little history, exactly where you need them most. Those figures are inferred — usually from review counts and listing age — which is why two tools can disagree about the same listing, and why they wobble most on new listings with the least history. This panel does not estimate anything. Every number is either counted off the page in front of you or reported by Etsy's own API: views, favourites, price, tags, materials, processing time, listing age. Where a number cannot be known honestly, the panel says so instead of filling the gap. A listing that is four hours old shows no views-per-day rate, because four hours is not a rate. That is a deliberate trade. You will not find a revenue estimate here. You will find figures you can act on without wondering how far off they are. COMMON QUESTIONS Is it actually free? Yes — it is free while Listogics is in early access, and every feature in the panel is on for everyone. A paid plan for the extension is planned for later; this listing will say so before that happens. Do I need to create an account? No. Install it and open any Etsy page. Which Etsy pages does it work on? Listing pages, search results, shop pages, and category and browse pages — including country-prefixed URLs like etsy.com/uk/listing/… The panel reads whichever kind of page you are on and changes what it shows. Where do the numbers come from? Etsy's public API and the page itself. Nothing is modelled or estimated. Will it slow Etsy down? No. The panel loads after the page and does its lookups in the background. Etsy-backed lookups are cached, so revisiting a listing costs nothing. What does it store about me? Your settings, your saved tag shortlist and your recent searches — all in your own browser, on your own device. No account exists to attach them to. The full policy is linked from the options page. Why can it see tags that Etsy does not show? Etsy publishes a listing's tags through its official API. The site stopped displaying them on the page; the data is still public. The panel asks the API and shows you the answer. What happens if the daily allowance runs out? Etsy-backed lookups share a fair-use daily allowance. On the rare occasions it is used up, the panel says so plainly and the keyword side keeps working. It never invents a number to fill the gap. Does it work if I do not sell on Etsy? It will still show you tags and keywords for anything you are browsing, but it is built for sellers. Free while it is in early access.
