Overview

Connects your podcast hosting accounts to Listener once, so Listener can keep your analytics up to date on its own.

Listener Sync keeps your podcast analytics up to date in Listener, without anyone exporting a spreadsheet by hand. If you run shows on Spotify, Apple Podcasts or Megaphone, keeping your numbers current usually means signing in to each platform, exporting a report, and uploading it somewhere. Every week. For every show. Listener Sync removes that work. You connect each platform once, from inside Listener, and your plays, followers, listeners and episode performance stay current from then on. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install this extension and link it to your Listener account. 2. In Listener, open a show and choose the platform you want to connect. 3. The extension opens that platform in a tab so you can sign in exactly as you normally would. 4. Confirm which of your shows maps to which Listener profile. That is the whole setup. If your account can see more than one Megaphone organisation or Apple Podcasts team, Listener asks which one to use rather than guessing, so a network with dozens of shows connects the right catalogue the first time. WHAT IT READS, PLAINLY Listener Sync reads the sign-in session your browser already holds for Spotify for Creators, Apple Podcasts Connect and Megaphone, and passes it to Listener so Listener can retrieve your own analytics. It never sees or stores your password for any of those platforms. It does not read your personal listening history. It does not touch any website other than those three platforms and Listener itself. It does not change pages you visit, show advertising, or track your browsing. Credentials are sent over an encrypted connection and stored encrypted on Listener's servers, used for one thing only: fetching your own podcast numbers. You can disconnect a platform at any time from your Listener account, which removes the stored credential. WHO IT IS FOR Podcast networks and independent creators who already use Listener to track audience, build media kits and report to sponsors. You need a Listener account to use this extension.
