linr

Overview
The song in your tab, with its story: album, release date, the artist and the official places to buy. Free.
linr follows the music playing in your browser tabs and tells its story, quietly, in a panel beside the page. Play a song on YouTube, Spotify, Bandcamp or most other music sites, and linr shows: • the record it comes from, with its cover and the day it first came out • where that album sits in the artist's discography • a few lines about the artist • the artist's own shop and site, when they have them (linr sells nothing) Keep what matters: • a heart for the songs that stay (Loved) • a wish list for the records you will buy one day • both saved as a .csv whenever you like A quiet hello in a notification when a new song starts while you are somewhere else. With a free getlinr.com account, what plays in Chrome joins your linr board on any screen, and your hearts and wish list go with you. Made for listeners of independent, alternative and classic music. No ads, no tracking, no subscription. If you like it, put a coin in the jukebox at getlinr.com.
