Overview

Labels AI and Human slop on YouTube

Reviews are made by a human (yours truly). The label database is updated daily, and contained ~13,000 labelled channels at release time (1.2.2 - Jun 2026). Crowdsourcing of opinion - you can also mark channels as "Slop", "AI Music", "Authentic", etc. using the context menu, and your marks are uploaded to the server. I consider your marks as "suggested label" when I personally review the channels, but the final review result is my own - it's a human "algorithm", nor prone to trivial manipulation. There is no "automated" or "AI detection" here. To clean your feed of slop, you use the "Don't Recommend Channel" option on channels labelled as "Slop" or "AI Music" as you see fit. Also wanted: collaborators to share the burden of review. Reach out through the community forum at the YouTube channel @AI-Slop-Detective.
