Receive files using a LinkUp transfer code or private download link.

Receive shared files without leaving your browser workflow. LinkUp Receive gives you a small, focused Chrome popup for opening a transfer code or private LinkUp link. RECEIVE YOUR WAY • Code: paste a 9-digit device-transfer code or a secure transfer code shared with you. • Link: paste a private LinkUp download link. If the sender added a password, you can enter it in the popup. • Review and save: the receiving page opens in a new tab so you can review the transfer and choose which files to save. Closing the popup does not close the receiving tab. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pin LinkUp Receive to your Chrome toolbar. 2. Open the extension and choose Code or Link. 3. Paste the code or private link supplied by the sender, then select Receive files. 4. Follow the receiving page to approve, unlock, review, or save your files. For a live device transfer, the sender must keep LinkUp open and approve your device. BUILT FOR RECEIVING This extension receives files shared through LinkUp. Sending files and creating transfers are available in the separate LinkUp app and website. The extension does not add a Gmail compose tool, read your clipboard automatically, or browse your other tabs. PASSWORD HANDLING An optional link password is held briefly in memory and passed once to the exact LinkUp receiving tab opened by the extension. It is not saved in extension storage or added to the URL. You still choose Unlock files on the receiving page. If the handoff expires, enter the password there. The extension only opens supported receiving URLs on send.linkupprojects.com. It contains no ads, analytics, or remotely loaded extension code. The receiving website processes the transfer and ordinary network information as described in our privacy policy.
