LinkRouter
Overview
Route web links to custom apps using regex rules. Requires the LinkRouter Windows app.
LinkRouter is a companion extension for the LinkRouter Windows desktop application. It lets you send any web link from your browser to LinkRouter with: • A configurable modifier key + click (default: Ctrl + Alt) • Right-click → "Open with LinkRouter" • One-click button in the extension popup ("Send current URL to LinkRouter") LinkRouter app then uses your custom regex rules to open the link in the app you choose — native desktop apps, alternative browsers, terminal commands, or anything else you configure. Features: • Customizable modifier keys • No data collection or telemetry • Nice popup with quick access to documentation and downloads • Works on Windows (requires free open-source desktop app from GitHub) Perfect for power users who want full control over how links are handled in their system.
