Overview

Inspect any link on hover for phishing and look-alike domains, and check link reputation on demand. Privacy-first, local by default.

Phishing works because fake links look almost right. LinkLens watches the links you hover and the sites you land on, and speaks up when something is pretending to be a brand you trust. Hover any link to instantly see: • whether it resembles a known brand — typosquats (gogle.com), look-alike characters (paypaI.com), or brand-as-decoy names (login-paypal.com) • whether it goes straight to its destination or redirects through a shortener • punycode, raw-IP, unencrypted-http, and risky-TLD warnings • the real, de-cluttered destination (tracking parameters removed) All of that is computed on your device — no network, no accounts, no tracking. Want a deeper check? Click "Check security of this link" to look the domain up against 90+ security engines via VirusTotal. You bring your own free API key, it's stored only on your device, and lookups happen only when you ask — so nothing is sent automatically as you browse. Privacy by design: • Local by default — detection runs entirely in your browser. • No analytics, no tracking, no remote code, no developer server. • The only optional outbound call is a VirusTotal lookup you initiate, sending just a domain name. Where it works: regular web pages, social feeds, and Outlook web email. Note that Gmail and some ad networks sandbox their content in a way that blocks all browser extensions from reading those links — see the listing's notes. Made with ❤️ by Apoorva Kumar
