LinkedSpace
Overview
LinkedIn, but fun. Reskin your feed as 26 retro internet eras — MySpace, Facebook, AIM, Geocities & more, each with its own quirk.
A love letter to the old internet we all remember — and a gentle roast of how seriously LinkedIn takes itself. Flip a switch and your feed becomes MySpace, complete with a Top 8 and a message from Tom. Or 2008 Facebook, where someone pokes you for no reason. Or AIM, with a buddy list and door-slam sounds. Or Geocities, under construction since 1996. There's a Bloomberg-style terminal with a live crypto ticker for the finance crowd, and a green-on-black one for the engineers. 26 eras in all, each with its own quirk. The fun part: every theme pulls real text from the page you're on — actual names, actual posts — and weaves it into the gag. Tom's message, the scrolling marquee, the buddy list: all populated live from your own feed. No two sessions look the same, and anything that repeats has around a hundred variations so it stays funny past the first minute. Pick your era from the toolbar popup. Toggle it off any time. Your preference is remembered. Privacy LinkedSpace has no server and no tracking. It reads page text only to decorate that same tab, in that same moment — nothing is stored, transmitted, or tied to you. The only network request is an optional public crypto-price lookup, used only by the Bull Market theme. Full policy in the listing.
