Overview
Quickly open LinkedIn's profile viewing visibility setting and switch between its three modes.
Tired of digging through LinkedIn’s settings every time you want to browse someone’s profile privately – and then digging back in to un-hide yourself? LinkedIn Visibility Toggle puts all three of LinkedIn’s profile-viewing modes one click away. Open the extension, pick a mode, and it jumps you straight to LinkedIn’s “Profile viewing options” page with your choice already applied. WHAT YOU CAN SWITCH BETWEEN • Your name and headline – you show up normally in “Who’s viewed your profile” • Private profile characteristics – viewers see only your industry and title • Private mode – you browse completely anonymously WHY YOU’LL LIKE IT • One click instead of five – no hunting through Settings menus • Switch to Private mode before some competitive research, then switch back • Clean, simple popup that matches LinkedIn’s look PRIVACY FIRST This extension does exactly one thing and touches nothing else. It can only act on LinkedIn’s profile-viewing settings page (linkedin.com/mypreferences/d/profile-viewing-options). It does NOT read your messages, connections, cookies, passwords, browsing history, or any other page. No data is collected, stored remotely, or sent anywhere. Your only saved setting is a temporary note of which mode you just picked, kept locally in your browser. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn. “LinkedIn” is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation.
