)Overview
Strict whitelist for your LinkedIn feed — hide every post by default and only show ones containing your keywords.
Take back control of your LinkedIn feed. LinkedIn Signal flips your feed from a losing game of “block and mute” into a simple whitelist: it hides every post by default and shows a post only when its text contains one of your keywords. No more scrolling past noise to find the few updates you actually care about. If it’s not signal, you don’t see it. WHY INSTALL IT The usual tools are a blacklist: you mute people, hide posts, and click “see fewer like this” — and the noise just regenerates. A whitelist is the opposite, and far more powerful. You decide the handful of topics worth your attention, and everything else quietly steps aside. Open LinkedIn, see only what matters, and move on with your day. Great for: • Recruiters and job seekers — keep only “hiring,” “remote,” roles, or companies • Founders and investors — follow “fundraising,” “launch,” a market, or a product • Staying on-topic — your industry, a technology, a conference, or a client name • Anyone who wants LinkedIn to be useful again instead of a time sink HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the icon and add the keywords you care about. 2. Turn filtering on. 3. Visit your feed — only posts that match show in full. Everything else collapses into a small “Filtered by Signal” placeholder so your feed stays tidy and scrolling still works. Changes apply instantly — add or remove a keyword and the open feed re-filters with no page reload. FEATURES • Whitelist, not blacklist — hidden by default, shown only on a match • Whole-word matching — “AI” matches “using AI,” not “email” or “captain” • Phrases supported — “remote hiring” matches as a whole phrase • Case-insensitive and instant — edits take effect live, no reload • Tidy feed — non-matching posts shrink to a labeled stub instead of leaving gaps • Sponsored posts are filtered by the same rule as everything else • Fails safe — turn it off, or clear your keywords, and your normal feed returns PRIVACY Your keywords stay on your own device. LinkedIn Signal makes no network requests, collects no data, and sends nothing anywhere. It requests a single permission, storage, to remember your keyword list. It only reads post text to decide what to show — it never posts, likes, connects, or acts on your behalf. GOOD TO KNOW • Posts with little or no text, such as image-only, video-only, or poll-only posts, have nothing to match, so under a strict whitelist they stay hidden • Text hidden behind “...see more” is not expanded, so a keyword that appears only in the collapsed portion will not match • LinkedIn updates its site often; if filtering ever pauses, the extension shows a notice and falls back to your normal feed so you are never stuck on a blank page Add a few keywords, turn it on, and enjoy a feed that is finally about you.
