LinkedIn Commentator
Overview
Generate friendly LinkedIn comments using a local or built-in AI model and insert them into the composer.
Short description Generate short, friendly, professional LinkedIn comments instantly — choose a tone or supply a custom prompt. Full description LinkedIn Commentator helps you respond faster on LinkedIn by generating concise, positive comments tailored to each post. Key features - One-click comment generation inserted directly into the LinkedIn composer. - Choose a tone (Friendly, Professional, Witty, Concise, Enthusiastic). - Provide a custom prompt to control phrasing and style. - Save and persist your preferred tone and prompt in the popup options. - Works with Chrome’s built‑in LanguageModel or chrome.ai when available (falls back gracefully). - Minimal permissions and limited host access — operates only on linkedin.com pages. How it works 1. Open a post on LinkedIn and click the comment button. 2. The extension sends the visible post text, which composes an AI prompt using your saved tone/prompt and generates a short comment. 3. The generated text is inserted into the comment section so you can review and post. Privacy & security - The extension uses the browser’s built‑in AI APIs when available (local or platform-provided models). It does not require external API keys by default. - Permissions are restricted to storage, tabs, and linkedin.com host access only. - No automatic posting — generated text is inserted for review before you post.
