Check links on the current page and highlight HTTP 200, 404, and other responses.
Check links on the current webpage and identify broken destinations at a glance. Link Status Checker highlights links directly on the page: • Green: HTTP 200 • Red: HTTP 404 • Amber: other HTTP responses, timeouts, or connection failures Click the extension icon, then select “Check current page” to start a scan. Features: • Check up to 500 unique URLs per scan. • Highlight every occurrence of duplicate links. • Follow redirects and show the final destination in link tooltips. • View scan progress and status counts in the popup. • Keep an active scan running after closing the popup. • Stop scanning and restore the page with the clear button. • Skip page anchors, email links, phone links, and unsupported URL types. The extension checks links in the current page's main document. It does not crawl the website or inspect other tabs, iframes, or Shadow DOM. Requests omit cookies and login credentials. Login pages and websites with anti-bot protection may return different results from manual browsing. Soft 404 pages returning HTTP 200 are not detected. There is no analytics or developer-operated data collection server. Status requests are sent directly to link destinations, which receive the requested URL and normal network connection information.
