)Overview
Summon ✨ magical links ✨
Summon the active tab as a Link. Press Alt+Shift+L (or click the toolbar icon) and the page's title and URL land on your clipboard, ready to paste. The Link is written to your clipboard in two forms at once: rich text (a clickable hyperlink, picked up by Notion, Slack, Gmail, Word, and most chat and document apps), and markdown (picked up by Obsidian, GitHub issues, and code editors). Whichever form your paste target prefers, it gets the right one — you don't pick. A small built-in pipeline of site-specific transformers cleans up the link text where the raw page title isn't quite right. For example, on YouTube watch pages, the "(3) " unread-notification prefix is stripped from titles before they hit your clipboard. Restricted pages where extensions can't reach — the new tab page, browser settings, the Chrome Web Store itself — are handled gracefully. The toolbar icon flashes a failure indicator and nothing lands on the clipboard. link-mage doesn't collect any data. It reads the active tab only when you summon a Link, and only writes to your clipboard. There's no telemetry, no remote backend, and no storage. Open source: https://github.com/KieranHunt/link-mage
