Link Family Groups

Opens a Link case and its related tasks as a named tab group in a new window, on request from the Link Task Dashboard.

Link Family Groups turns a support case and everything attached to it into a single named tab group, in one click, from the Link Task Dashboard. A case in Link rarely travels alone. It has subtasks, the subtasks have subtasks, and there are usually related and referenced tickets alongside them. Opening all of that by hand leaves you with a row of anonymous tabs and no way to tell one case from the next. With this extension installed, the dashboard's Open family button asks Chrome for a real tab group instead. Every task in the family opens as a tab, the tabs are grouped together, and the group is named after the case and coloured by what it is: blue for a single case and its family, purple for a cluster of related cases. Collapse the group when you are done with it, or close it in one gesture. The extension does exactly this and nothing else. It has no options page, no account, no toolbar popup and no settings. It sits idle until the dashboard sends it a request, and it only ever opens addresses on link.orangelogic.com, at most forty at a time. Requires the Link Task Dashboard, an internal Orange Logic tool, and a Link account. It is of no use without them.
