When something breaks on the page you are building, Link Dev has already seen it. It records from the moment the page starts loading, so you do not have to open the developer tools and reload to catch the problem. Press Alt+Shift+D or the toolbar button to open it. It appears in a small window you can place anywhere on the screen, or in the side panel. WHAT YOU CAN DO • See every request the page made, with its status, headers and response, kept across reloads. A badge on the toolbar button counts the ones that failed. • Turn a request into a command you can run in a terminal, or change it and send it again. • Read the page's console messages and errors, with a plain explanation when the browser blocked a call to another site and what header would fix it. • In GraphQL apps, see each call under its operation name, and notice answers that carry errors even though their status says OK. • Look at and edit the cookies and data the page keeps in the browser. • Check how your app copes when a request fails, is slow, or returns something else, with rules you create from any call in the list. • Save what you found as a HAR file or a short report for a bug ticket. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Nothing you record is sent anywhere: no account, no server, no analytics. It works on your local development server from the start, and on any other site only after you turn it on there. Passwords, tokens and cookies stay hidden on screen and in every file you save.
