Link Cleaner Pro removes tracking parameters from web addresses as you navigate, before the request reaches the destination site. Links look cleaner, are easier to share, and carry less information about where you came from. What it does: - Cleans the address using Chrome's declarativeNetRequest API, with no scripts injected into pages. - Recognizes a built-in list of common tracking parameters from advertising, analytics and email campaigns. - Keeps legitimate parameters (search terms, IDs, page numbers) and the page fragment intact. - Per-site allowlist: turn cleaning off for a specific domain from the popup if that site needs its parameters. - Custom parameters: add your own, separated by commas. - Global switch to pause the extension without uninstalling it. - Counter and recent activity list, so you can see what was removed. Privacy: - No data is sent to any server. No analytics, accounts or ads. - Settings are stored in your browser. Recent activity is stored only on your device. - It does not read or modify page content. Limitations: - It acts on page navigations (tabs and iframes), not on images or scripts. - If a site stops working properly, add its domain to the allowlist from the popup.
