Yijian is an AI-powered webpage translation and summarization extension that uses a custom OpenAI-compatible API. It places translations directly beneath the original paragraphs, allowing you to read foreign-language webpages while retaining context. A draggable content overview helps you quickly grasp the key points. Key features: • Paragraph-by-paragraph webpage translation with the original text and translation displayed together • Automatic detection of the main content area, excluding code blocks and non-essential content • Concurrent translation of multiple paragraphs, with support for stopping, clearing, and retrying after interruption • Automatic generation of page summaries, key outlines, and content flow • Clickable summary items that navigate to and highlight the corresponding text • Selection translation that closes automatically when you click elsewhere on the page • Support for multiple interface and translation languages, including Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean • Custom API endpoint, API key, and model configuration Yijian is not tied to any specific model provider. You can use any service endpoint and model compatible with the OpenAI Chat Completions API. API settings are stored locally in the extension storage of your current Chrome profile.
