LinguaRamp turns the Chinese videos you already watch into study material. On supported video and streaming pages, the extension segments the subtitles into words you can tap for instant dictionary definitions, builds an interactive transcript of the video, and lets you practice what you heard with cloze and shadowing modes. You can also enable it yourself on any other video page. Free, no account needed: • Tap-to-define word lookups with pinyin, powered by a built-in dictionary — lookups never leave your browser • Subtitle word segmentation and caption overlay With a LinguaRamp account: • Interactive transcripts with translations • Live transcription for videos without subtitles, including recognition of burned-in (hard) subtitles • Save words and subtitle lines — with audio clips — to your LinguaRamp vocabulary, synced The extension runs only on the pages it supports, or on a page you explicitly enable it on, and only while you use it. It does not track your browsing. This is an early preview released alongside the LinguaRamp iOS app.
