LineLens
Overview
Reader-first extension for focused long-form article reading.
Many readers struggle to stay focused when reading long-form articles online. The problem is often not the article itself, but the reading environment around it: busy layouts, sidebars, buttons, recommendations, embedded media, and social platform noise can easily pull attention away. For readers who lose their place, skim unintentionally, or feel overwhelmed by dense paragraphs, finishing a valuable article can become much harder than it should be. LineLens is built to make long-form reading calmer and easier to complete. It converts supported articles into a clean, focused Reader page that preserves the original content while reducing distractions. Text, images, videos, code blocks, links, and embedded posts remain available, but the reading experience is reorganized around focus and continuity. LineLens highlights the current reading unit, keeps the surrounding content visible as context, and saves reading progress locally so users can return to where they left off. The current version is configured for X / Twitter Articles, including supported article pages on x.com and twitter.com. When a supported article is opened, users can launch LineLens from the browser extension icon and continue reading in a quieter environment. LineLens also supports simple keyboard-based focus movement. Users can press the left and right arrow keys to move the reading focus backward or forward, making it easier to progress through the article step by step without losing position.
