Find the accessibility problems on any web page, in one click. Limen checks the page you are looking at against WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA and shows what failed and how serious it is. Free, private, and no account. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open any page: your shop, a staging site, a page you are logged in to. 2. Click the Limen icon and press "Check this page". 3. See every confirmed failure, grouped by kind and counted, each with the WCAG success criterion it fails and its impact: blocker, serious or moderate. WHAT IT CHECKS Twenty-seven automated checks across WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA, including links and buttons with no accessible name, images without alternative text, alt text that is only a file name, form fields without labels, text contrast, blocked pinch-to-zoom, missing page language and title, skipped heading levels, missing landmarks and skip links, untitled frames, and click handlers on elements a keyboard cannot reach. PROVED, NOT GUESSED Findings a machine can confirm are counted as failures. Anything that needs a person to decide is listed separately and never added to the total, because a padded number helps nobody. READS THE PAGE YOUR VISITORS SEE It checks the page as your browser rendered it, including everything JavaScript added after loading, where many tools only read the HTML the server sent. PRIVATE BY DESIGN The check runs inside the tab you click it on. The extension makes no network requests, stores nothing, and has no account, analytics or cookies. Its only permissions are "activeTab" and "scripting", so it can read only the tab you clicked, and only when you clicked. WHAT IT CANNOT DO Automated testing finds roughly a third of accessibility barriers. No tool can tell you whether your alt text is accurate, whether the focus order makes sense, or whether someone using only a keyboard can finish a purchase. A clean result is not conformance, and this extension never claims otherwise. NEED THE EXACT LINE AND THE FIX? The extension names and counts what failed.
