Cosing tab after redirect doesn't appear to be working

I'll often have join a zoom meeting from my calendar, and a redirect notice page opens with the URL in the format of
https://www.google.com/url?q=https://[zoomURL]/j/[meeting details]&source=calendar&[other parameters]

After the redirect notice, I am sent to the proper zoom URL
https://[zoomURL]/j/[meeting details]#success

I cannot seem to get AutoCloser to close the proper zoom URL after a redirect. It does properly close the page if I refresh that page, but at that point, I might as well just close the tab manually each time.

Is there a way to have AutoCloser recognize a redirect has taken place and close the page if the redirect target matches the expressions set?

Closing Tab Before Launching

I've run into the issue where I was joining a Zoom call with a 3rd party company and it created a pop-up asking if it was allowed to launch zoom but then the tab closed before I was able to click it, even after multiple tries. I ended up having to disable the extension to be able to join the meeting.

I have a few ideas of I think could solve this problem:
1. Have option that allows user to adjust how long the extension waits before closing the tab so they have time to interact with the page if needed
2. Don't close the tab if it has an active popup
3. Have the extension automatically approve any of those requests

Thank you, this extension is the best version I've found and is saving my OCD sanity!!
