HOW IT WORKS • Quick pass, on your device: visible images, videos and long passages are checked for tell-tale signs, such as AI labels added by the site or creator, AI mentions in captions, image sizes typical of AI generators, and AI-style writing. Nothing from the quick pass leaves your browser. • Made for busy pages: Lightmus only badges what's actually on screen, and empty badges appear only when you hover, so pages stay clean. • Deep checks where they matter: the largest images and videos on a page get the full Lightmus analysis automatically (up to 3 per page and 10 per day on the free plan, adjustable or switchable off). Anything else is one click away, or use the right-click menu. • Video: Lightmus captures pairs of frames half a second apart during playback and compares them for details that change when they shouldn't. Camera cuts are detected, so ordinary editing isn't mistaken for AI. • Text: Lightmus quotes the exact phrases that read as machine-written. Page text is only sent when you click to check it.
