LifeLedger: A Life Simulator — live an entire randomized life, one year at a time, right from your browser toolbar. LifeLedger is a text-based life simulator game. Generate a random person — or build your own — and click "Age Up" to live through infancy, school, adulthood, and old age, one year per click. Every year brings new choices, and every choice gets written into the ledger. WHY INSTALL THIS LIFE SIMULATOR Most life simulation games live behind ads, paywalls, or a full mobile app you have to download. LifeLedger is a self-contained browser extension: no account, no ads, no in-app purchases, no network requests at all. Your whole life is saved locally as you play, so you can close the popup, come back tomorrow, and pick up exactly where you left off. CORE LIFE SIMULATOR FEATURES - Live through 35+ branching random events: bullies, crushes, science fairs, health scares, lottery tickets, midlife crises, and more, each with real choices that shift your stats - Go to school and choose a college major, or drop out and take your chances - Apply for jobs across four education tiers, get raises, get fired, or start your own business (Food Truck up to Real Estate Firm) - Enlist in the military for steady pay, real promotions, and real risk - Train Athletics, Music, or Art skills to unlock a pro career path - Build a following on social media and turn it into a full-time income - Date, marry, divorce, raise kids, and watch relatives age and pass away over time - Buy cars, houses, jewelry, and pets, or open a savings account and take out a loan - Take the riskier road with pickpocketing, shoplifting, and burglary, with real jail time if you're caught, and a shot at a prison escape - Die of old age, illness, or worse, then see a full life report and optionally continue as your character's child in the next generation HOW THIS LIFE SIM WORKS Click the extension icon to open your ledger. Everything happens in that one popup: four core stats (Happiness, Health, Smarts, Looks), a running life story log, and six tabs (Life, School, Career, People, Assets, Activities) covering every system above. One button, the red "Age +1" stamp, drives the whole simulation forward. PRIVACY LifeLedger makes no network requests. Your character's data is stored only in your browser's local extension storage and never leaves your device.
