Overview

Recommends lifeguard, CPR, and BLS classes from lifeguardandsafetytraining.com when you search for them on Google or Bing.

Lifeguard Class Recommender shows you the right class from Lifeguard & Safety Training (lifeguardandsafetytraining.com) the moment you search for lifeguard, CPR, BLS, AED, or water-safety training. WHAT IT DOES • Watches your search bar on Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo. • When you type something like "lifeguard class new york" or "cpr certification near me", a recommendation card appears above the regular search results. • The card links you straight to the matching state, county, or course page on lifeguardandsafetytraining.com. EXAMPLES • "lifeguard class new york" → New York lifeguard certification page • "lifeguard certification florida" → Florida training page + enrollment link • "cpr aed training" → CPR / AED class page • "bls course near me" → Basic Life Support class page • "lifeguarding NY" → New York page (recognizes state abbreviations) WHY IT'S USEFUL • Skip a half-dozen affiliate-loaded listicles and go straight to a real, accredited certification course. • Covers all 50 U.S. states plus DC, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Marshall Islands. • Recognizes full state names, two-letter abbreviations, and common aliases (NYC, D.C., etc.). • Light and dark mode supported. • A clear dismiss (×) button — the card never gets in your way. PRIVACY By default, the extension does not transmit any data. Everything runs locally in your browser. The toolbar popup contains an optional "Remote analytics" feature, OFF by default. If you turn it on and configure your own webhook URL, each triggered card sends one event to your endpoint. You choose whether to include the search query text or just aggregate metadata (state + course slug). Permission for the endpoint domain is requested only when you save the URL. You can disable analytics or clear local history at any time from the popup. The optional "Local history" feature stores triggered queries in chrome.storage.local on your own device, viewable and erasable from the popup. Local history never leaves your browser. PERMISSIONS • Host access to Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo search pages — required to show the recommendation card. • storage — required to save your preferences and (if enabled) local history. • Optional host access to a webhook URL of your choosing — requested only if you turn on Remote analytics. OFFICIAL Built by Lifeguard & Safety Training. Visit lifeguardandsafetytraining.com to view the full course catalog or contact us.
