License Receipt

Save local acquisition records by project without legal interpretation or network access.

License Receipt keeps a reviewable acquisition record beside each project, using details from the page you choose. FEATURES Bring in the current page title, website, source address, and the text you selected. Review and correct every field before saving. Group receipts by project in a clear local register. Add optional intended-use notes and a local SHA-256 file fingerprint without retaining the file. Edit or delete individual receipts, and export one project or the full register as JSON or CSV. Use manual entry whenever a page cannot be read. HOW TO USE Open the relevant asset or licence page, select a useful excerpt if you want to keep one, and click License Receipt in the Chrome toolbar. Choose a project, review the source details, add your own acquisition information, and save. Open the project register to review or export your records later. PRIVACY License Receipt reads the active page only after you click its toolbar action. Confirmed receipts stay in your current Chrome profile. The extension has no account, server, analytics, advertising, telemetry, or automatic data transfer. Data leaves the extension only when you explicitly export a JSON or CSV file. IMPORTANT LIMIT A receipt is your record of what you saw and entered. It does not verify a licence, guarantee that terms are complete or current, provide legal advice, or replace checking the source's current terms. PERMISSIONS Temporary current-page access brings the chosen source details into the form. Script access performs that one user-invoked read. Local storage keeps confirmed receipts and an unfinished form in the current browser session.
