Backspace Back Bring back the classic Backspace navigation. Press Backspace anywhere to go back to the previous page, just like old browsers used to do. What it does - Press Backspace → goes back in history - Smart typing detection → Backspace works normally in inputs, textareas, search boxes, dropdowns, and rich text editors (contenteditable) - No popup, no settings, no background work. It just works. Privacy - 100% local. No data collection, no analytics, no network requests. - No accounts, no ads, no tracking. - Lightweight — a single key listener, nothing else. The extension needs access to all websites (`<all_urls>`) only so Backspace navigation works everywhere. It does not read, store, or transmit page content, it only listens for the Backspace keypress outside text fields and calls `history.back()`.
