CalmaWeb — Ad Blocker

Blocks ads with EasyList and the Spanish list, hides ad slots and mutes video ads. 100% local, with per-site pause.

CalmaWeb blocks ads, trackers and ad popups so pages load faster and read better. Everything runs inside your browser: no accounts, no usage tracking and no remote code. WHAT IT DOES • Blocks ad and tracker requests with EasyList and EasyList Spanish, bundled for offline use and refreshable about once a day. • Hides leftover ad slots and intrusive banners on the page (cosmetic filters), including Spanish-language sites. • Stops ad popups without blocking legitimate sites. • On YouTube, hides feed ads and, if a player ad appears, mutes it, speeds it up and skips it when the player UI allows. CalmaWeb is not affiliated with YouTube or Google. • Leaves the page usable: ads and trackers are blocked; the text you came to read stays. • Shows on the icon and in the popup how many items were stopped on the current tab (resets when you navigate). • Pause blocking on a specific site with one click. PRIVACY • Does not collect or transmit personal or browsing data. • No remote code: filter lists are data (text rules) and are converted inside the extension. • The only optional download is the public filter-list file; pages you visit are never uploaded. • Stores only on your device: on/off state, your paused sites and which lists are enabled. HOW TO USE 1. Install it — it is on by default. 2. Browse normally. 3. Click the toolbar icon to see this tab’s counter, pause a site or turn it off.
