Overview

Save videos to your own Google Sheet research library with one click.

Video Research Vault lets you save YouTube video data to your own Google Sheet with a single click, directly from the watch page, without switching tabs or copying anything manually. Perfect for thumbnail designers building swipe files, YouTube strategists tracking competitors, and agencies that need a shared reference library for their team. What gets saved: - Video title - Video URL - Thumbnail image - Channel name - View count - Upload date Everything goes straight into your Google Sheet in your format. Your data, your file. We don't store anything on our servers. Free to use. Subscribe to the Josh Howard YouTube strategy newsletter at joshuahoward.me to get a free activation key that locks in unlimited saves. Built by the team at Six Cents Productions, a YouTube strategy agency. We built this for our own workflow and we're sharing it because it works. Version 1.0.8 Release Notes Fixed: Sign in with Google failed with "Access blocked: Authorization Error". Google changed how it handles the two permissions this extension needs, and they can no longer be requested at the same time. What this means for you: • You will need to sign in again after updating. • Google will now show two permission screens instead of one — one for reading video details, one for creating your research sheet. Please approve both. The extension cannot save videos without them. • Your sheet, collections and saved videos are untouched. Also in this release: • Sign-in now works in Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi and Arc. • The last-used collection no longer carries over when you switch or reconnect a different research sheet. The two-permission-screens line is the one that earns its place — without it your support inbox fills up with people thinking the second prompt is a bug.
