Picture This – Copy Any Image

Copy images that right-click can't — CSS backgrounds, SVG, canvas — as PNG, plus a history of recent copies.

Right-click any image on a page and copy it to the clipboard as PNG. Picture This picks up images that the browser's built-in "Copy image" can't reach, and always copies them in a format that apps can paste. Features - Works on more than <img>: CSS background images (including ::before / ::after), <canvas>, inline SVG, and <video> poster images - Always PNG: WebP, AVIF, SVG and other formats are converted to PNG before copying - Works on more sites: images are downloaded by the extension itself, so sites that block cross-origin requests still work - Recent copies in the popup: click a thumbnail to copy it again, open the page it came from, or delete it - Save the original file: "Save original image" downloads the image without converting it, so animated GIF, APNG and WebP keep their animation - Works inside iframes - English and Japanese How to use 1. Right-click an image and choose "Copy image to clipboard" 2. Paste it anywhere 3. To keep an animation, choose "Save original image" instead 4. To copy a recent image again, click the toolbar icon and click its thumbnail Notes - Animated images are copied as their first frame. Use "Save original image" to keep the animation - Images larger than about 2 MB are copied but not kept in the history - The history is stored only on your device and is never sent anywhere
