Save the page you're on to your NookMarker bookmarks in one click — with the site's real icon. No sign-in needed.

Save any page to NookMarker in one click. Click the NookMarker button in your toolbar and the page you're on opens in NookMarker with the "New bookmark" box already filled in — the address, the title, the site's own icon, and a short note about the page. Pick a folder, press Save. That's it. Select some text on the page before you click, and that becomes the note. Select nothing and the page's own description is used instead. WHY IT EXISTS Bookmark managers get website icons from a public icon service, and those services have no icon for a great many sites — bank portals, IRCTC, university logins, anything behind a sign-in wall. You end up with a wall of grey globes. The page itself has the real icon. This extension reads it straight from the page you are looking at and hands it to NookMarker along with the link, so the sites that never had an icon finally get one. That also covers the sites that serve their icon only to their own pages and to nobody else — a link to those icons is worthless, the icon itself is not. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO - No sign-in. The extension has no account of its own and never asks for one. - Nothing runs in the background, and nothing runs on the pages you browse. When you click the button, and only then, it reads that one page's icon and description, and stops. Nothing is left behind on the page. - It never piles up tabs. If NookMarker is already open, it uses that tab. - The extension stores nothing on your device and has no server of its own.
