Stats, a year in review, and a few extra touches for Letterboxd, built right into the site. STATS Click Stats in the nav bar and your diary becomes a stats page: • The directors, actors and crew you watch most, and the ones you rate highest • Hours watched, decades, genres, countries and languages, and a map of where your films come from • The films you rated higher or lower than everyone else • Progress rings for the big lists: IMDb Top 250, Sight & Sound, AFI 100, 1001 Movies, Best Picture winners and more • A Cinephile Score out of 100, for how far off the beaten path you go YOUR YEAR IN FILM Pick any year you've logged and the page rebuilds for it: diary entries, hours, your longest streak, days with two films or more, every poster from that year, your first and last film, your re-watches, and a week-by-week chart. SHARE One button turns what you're looking at into an image you can copy, save or post. It's made in your browser and never uploaded. ON FILM PAGES • Your friends' average rating, under Letterboxd's own chart • IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic scores, each one easy to switch off You can turn any of it on or off from the extension's popup. PRIVACY • Friends' ratings are worked out in your browser. Nothing is sent. • Stats asks for your permission first. After that, our server gets a list of film IDs and your ratings. Never your name, username, email or login. It keeps nothing and doesn't log your IP. • Your watch dates stay in your browser. The server is never told which year you're looking at. • Letterboxd stops extensions after the first page of your films. For the rest, we can use your Letterboxd data export, but only if you say yes. It's read in your browser, only each film's short link is sent to match it, and your reviews and email are never read. • External scores send only the ID of the film you're on. • No ads, no analytics, no trackers, and your data is never sold.
