Could you help me make a userscript that enables the message history functionality?

I used 7tv specifically for the function to re-send previously typed messages using the up and down arrows, but 7tv is breaking my chat and video for Kick. I would just use your extension but I use Firefox and don't want to change. I notice your extension has that functionality also. Would you mind helping me out with how you got this to work? I'm a noob at code and chatGPT can't make a functional userscript for this application unless I have better input or guidance. Is it possible with a simple script code? Or would I have to make an extension?
