Snow on every page you browse. LetItSnow drops a light layer of falling snowflakes over whatever you are reading, then gets out of the way. The particles sit in their own layer that ignores the mouse, so every link, button and text selection underneath behaves exactly as it did. One switch in the toolbar turns it on. The same switch turns it off — for the site you are on, or everywhere. WHAT YOU GET • Five themes — Snow, Pumpkin, Leaves, Petals and Stars. • Any emoji you like — paste a character into the custom field and that is what falls. • Match the season — let the calendar pick instead: pumpkins in November, snow from December to February, petals March to May, stars all summer, leaves in September and October. • Density — 6, 12 or 24 particles on screen at once. • Speed — a 16, 10 or 6 second fall. • Per-site off switch — turn LetItSnow off for the site you are on. Excluded sites are listed on the settings page and come back with one click. • Reduced motion, respected — if your system asks for reduced motion, nothing animates at all, and the settings page says so. BUILT TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY Turning snowfall off clears the flakes out of tabs that are already open, so there is nothing to reload. Your settings ride along with your Chrome profile, so a browser you sign in to somewhere else looks the same. There is no popup asking you to rate anything, no onboarding tab on install, and no second extension bundled in. PRIVACY No account, no analytics, no network requests, no tracking. LetItSnow never reads, stores or sends the pages you visit. The only thing it keeps is your own settings — theme, density, speed, and the list of sites you switched it off for — and those live in Chrome's sync storage on your profile. It does ask to run on the pages you visit, because that is where the snow goes. It uses that access for one thing: adding a decorative layer on top of the page.
