Lesuto Chameleon helps entrepreneurs add a complete storefront to a website they already own. Merchants can curate products from Lesuto suppliers, present them under their own brand, and earn a commission when customers buy. Suppliers gain another way to reach shoppers through a network of independent storefronts. Lesuto powers the commerce technology behind the experience, including product discovery, checkout, order routing, and fulfillment coordination. The Lesuto Chameleon Toolkit is the official Chrome developer tool for building and testing those storefronts. It works with Lesuto Studio, the visual editor used to add, arrange, style, preview, and publish Chameleon commerce modules without rebuilding the host website. Studio is fully capable on its own: sign in, link a store, save drafts, preview changes, and publish inside the editor. This extension enhances that flow with three capabilities in one Manifest V3 package: ▣ OPEN STUDIO --------------------------- Inject the same visual Studio used by Try It and the demo sandbox into any normal https page. If you are already signed into admin.lesuto.com, Open Studio can hand off your session so you skip a second login. Login, drafts, preview, and publish still live in Studio. Chrome New Tab and other chrome:// pages cannot receive Studio (open a real website first). On CSP-locked sites where bookmarklets fail silently, Open Studio is the reliable path. ▣ TRACKING SHIELD (OPT IN) -------------------------------------------------- The master switch starts OFF. Turn it on for invisible development, QA, or demo sessions so your clicks do not create false pageviews, fake conversions, or polluted audience segments. When the shield is on, it can block: ✓ Common web analytics (including Google Analytics / Tag Manager style beacons) ✓ Common social advertising pixels (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and similar) ✓ Dozens of advertising networks at the network layer ✓ Lesuto behavioral telemetry (event beacons, batch events, outreach tracking) ✓ Lesuto email tracking (open pixels and click redirects) ✓ Tracking-oriented GraphQL mutations that share endpoints with normal API traffic ✓ Optional error-reporting envelopes (this category stays OFF by default even when the shield is on) Each category has its own toggle, so you can keep error reporting while blocking analytics, or the reverse. Flip the master switch off when you need real events to fire again. ▣ CLEAN DEPLOY ----------------------------- With ad networks enabled under the shield: stop known ad requests, hide common display-ad shells with cosmetic CSS (search, video, and content sites), and collapse labeled Sponsored / Promoted feed cards on Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube (including Skip Ad when available). Facebook feed cosmetics are skipped so Meta's virtualized feed stays stable. Ad Manager / Business Suite / Campaign Manager style tooling is left alone so your ad consoles stay usable. Built for clean storefront previews and screenshot-ready social proof. ▣ How it works (four layers) --------------------------------------------- 1. Chrome's declarativeNetRequest API blocks tracker and ad URLs before they leave the browser 2. A content script intercepts page-side tracking calls (fetch, XHR, sendBeacon, and common analytics / pixel stubs), including tracking GraphQL mutations that share endpoints with normal APIs 3. Cosmetic CSS hides known display-ad containers 4. A social feed filter watches the DOM and collapses Sponsored / Promoted units on Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube (not Facebook feed, not Ads Manager) Blocked requests receive safe no-op responses so the host application continues to function normally. Open Studio injects a single first-party, version-pinned script from www.lesuto.com only when you click the button. Changing that pin requires an extension update.
