Lessons Learned by PayShepherd
Overview
Capture lessons learned from the page you're on.
Lessons Learned turns the page you're reading into a lesson your next project can find. Post-mortems, incident write-ups, RFI threads, closeout reports — the lessons are already written down, just nowhere anyone will look for them again. This extension reads the page you're on and drafts every distinct lesson it holds, so you review instead of retype. How it works: 1. Open the page and click the Lessons Learned icon. 2. Pick the project. The extension reads the whole page, or just the passage you highlighted. 3. Review the drafts — up to ten from one page, ordered most significant first. One card per lesson, every field in full: what happened, root causes, key takeaways, severity, impact, phase and tags. 4. Edit anything, remove what isn't worth keeping, and submit the rest. They land in your pending queue for review, each one carrying the page it came from as its source. Nothing is truncated and nothing is saved behind your back: a lesson exists in your account only once you submit it. If you dismiss the popup mid-review — clicking outside it closes it — your drafts are waiting when you open it again on that page, for as long as the browser stays open. What you need: * A Lessons Learned account with PayShepherd, signed in to it in this browser. The extension uses the session you already have and never asks for your password. * Permission to contribute lessons in your organization. * Chrome v123 or later. What it does with your data: It reads a page only when you click the icon, and only that tab. The text (up to 30,000 characters), the page title and the URL go to the Lessons Learned API, which uses an AI model to draft the lessons. The page text isn't stored in your account — only the lessons you submit are, with the page recorded as their source. The extension runs nowhere else, watches nothing you browse, and has no background process.
