Overview

LessonPilot helps teachers generate ready-to-use questions from any text with customizable grade, language, and sharing options.

LessonPilot turns the text on any webpage into ready-to-use practice questions for your students — in seconds. As a teacher, you spend hours finding good source texts, even more time writing pedagogically sound questions to go with them, and still more making the worksheet and sharing it with students. LessonPilot removes everything except that first step — and that's intentional. Working with real, organic texts matters, so we leave that part to you. How it works: Be on a website with text you want to use. Click "Generate" for the whole page ("All text"), or highlight a specific passage and click the LessonPilot icon that appears. Choose the grade level and language. Generate your questions — powered by AI with prompts built around curriculum-focused pedagogy. Export or share through ready-made templates: PDF, Word, Google Doc, or a Google Classroom assignment. Why install it? • Save hours of prep time — turn any article, textbook excerpt, or news story into a worksheet in under a minute instead of writing questions from scratch. • Flexible by design — use the whole page, or zoom in on just the passage you need, whichever fits the lesson. • Matches your classroom — pick the grade level (1–10) and language (English or Norwegian) so questions fit your students. • Export exactly how you already work — choose a printable PDF, an editable Word document, a Google Doc, or publish straight to Google Classroom as an assignment. • Nothing extra to manage — worksheets come pre-formatted with a name/class/date header and numbered questions, ready to hand out immediately. LessonPilot only processes the text you actively choose to use — never your full browsing activity — so you can use it with confidence in any classroom setting.
